The hood that can be expanded gives your baby extra UPF 50 protection and a cushioned seat with an ergonomic design ensures they're comfortable and secure. Our tester took the Zelia out for a stroll through the town and was pleased with the ease with which it handled. The front wheels can be locked in a forward position or a quick flick of the switch allows them to swivel to help navigate rough terrain. She tested it on a stony and bumpy path and was awed by how well it handled even though it's not designed for lots of off-road activities.
She was also happy with the ease to fold. It has a lever that is easy to reach on the back of the chassis that can be pulled to lift the seat unit from its base. It's an excellent design because it doesn't require you to remove the seat in order to open it or fold it. Simply pull up on the catch. The handlebar can be adjusted to your height. The Zelia is sold with a rain cover, booster cushion and cup holder, and Maxi-Cosi capsule adaptors on your own. It's compatible with any Maxi-Cosi baby car seat. Like all Bugaboo pushchairs, this one is built with ease of use in mind. It features a single-piece self-standing chassis that can be used with either the bassinet or seat (you'll need to buy a separate frame for the carrycot). Baby Jogger City Mini
The City Mini is a full-size stroller that doesn't stand out in any way other than the fact the fact that it's light and compact when folded. It also scores highly in all our categories. However it doesn't score quite as well as its rivals because of a poorly-placed peek-aboo and storage that's a bit blocked.
But, it's a solid stroller and one of our top choices for families who require something that can take them through everyday use and even occasional adventures. It features a large footrest that is well-padded. This makes it comfortable for little ones. The seat reclines to a flat position, but we found it somewhat difficult to adjust and took two hands. The adjustable calf supports are an attractive feature that will allow your child's feet to lift up when they get tired.
The City Mini, like many other strollers on our list, has a large canopy that is UV50. Parents are raving about it. The sun shade is elegantly constructed and can be pulled all the way down, which is great as it will keep your little one safe from sun without the need to keep tucking it back in place.
Another great feature of the City Mini is that it can be transformed into a double stroller by attaching an add-on kit. You can use any Baby Jogger car-seat and create an entire travel system from the beginning. The only issue is that the addition of a second seat can alter the look and feel of the stroller dramatically and some parents may be a bit hesitant to navigate once they've gotten used to it.
The City Mini GT Double Stroller is another alternative to the City Mini. The model is a little more expensive than the single City Mini but it does come with some extra features, like "forever air" rubber suspension and tyres that make it suitable for off-roading. It has an adjustable handlebar and parking brakes that can be operated with a hand, and a more user-friendly design than the standard City Mini.
